La FOP contribuye a mejorar el conocimiento sobre el oso pardo desarrollando o participando en líneas de investigación aplicada a la conservación en colaboración con diferentes universidades y centros de investigación, y cuyos principales resultados se recogen en literatura científica o congresos especializados.
